About The Willow Centre
We offer a home-from-home day centre for people with dementia. We provide the highest standards of specialist care and support for families.
There is always plenty going on at The Willow Centre from yoga to gardening, singing and hair and beauty to name but a few. All set in our beautiful purpose-built centre surrounded by our historic woodlands.
The Willow Centre gives peace of mind to families, offering reassurance that their loved one is in a safe, stimulating and homely environment with friendly staff who fully understand dementia.
Whole-person plans reflect our service user’s individual needs, interests and freedom of choice. The Willow Centre has a high ratio of staff to service users, enabling people to pursue a range of different activities and interests freely and safely.
Delicious home cooked meals and snacks are available throughout the day, providing variety and choice, any special dietary requirements are catered for.
We provide a full range of activities for our service users, these include (but are not limited to); arts and crafts, poetry, reading aloud, singing, live music, sensory activities, reminiscing activities, hand massage, painting, yoga, physiotherapy, keep fit, seasonal crafts (e.g pumpkin carving, making Christmas cards etc) and board games. Beccy Incledon-Blevin
Community Services Manager
Beccy joined the Trust in 2003 as a Care Assistant and has progressed to role of Community Services Manager. She has held a range of posts in most services within the Trust. In her current role she is responsible for Extra Care Services and Day Services.
In 2021 Beccy won ‘Best Use of Digital Technology’ at the Radar Health Care Awards. Beccy was awarded this accolade for being instrumental in the introduction of truly innovative technology at Parkhaven Trust that’s made a huge positive difference. She then went on to win Care Innovator in the 2022 GB Care Awards.
In 2024 Beccy was a finalist in the 2024 The Social Care Leadership Awards, in the category of Digital Innovator.
